Third paddle in a row. I could get used to it even if it is wet out. But unfortunately I got to be back at work tomorrow. Today though I took my surfski to Deep Cove – not only 3 paddles in a row but also three different type of boats :-). The Cove was pretty sogged in and it got more and more wet the further down the Arm I went. I made it all the way to Bishops Creek today, paddling from point to point – if I could see the next point in the low clouds that is. I had a nice “picnic” in the rain at Bishops Creek – I was already wet anyhow – sandwich, carrots and a couple chocolate-coated cookies tasted wonderful after the 1.5hr paddle up. The arm was pretty calm, just a slight breeze coming down it which made for a nice little push going back. 3hrs paddle, 20min break, ~25km.

Lovely! The South Saskatchewan is now filed with boat-piercing ice chunks.
